What is Snoop and Scoop?

                                    Each and every year, numerous children turn up                                       missing. Our program has detailed many of these                                     investigations and the heartbreaking stories of the                                     devastation to the families. Noreen Gosch is but                                        one of the victims who have told their story on our program. In other programs on A Closer Look, we have detailed the Joshua Guimond case in Minnesota. In this case, a young college student mysteriously disappeared. This case remains unsolved.

Too often, the people that we have interviewed on our program tell of a lack of concern by law enforcement officials, obstructed investigations, and a frustrating litany of excuses as to why nothing is being done to find the victims of this type of horrendous crime. And, in most cases, these families utter suspicions that the perpetrators of these crimes seem to receive special protection from authorities.
 
Our research indicates that crimes of this nature do have connections at the highest levels of government and business, and is one of the most vigorously protected secrets that some agencies may have. Child prostitution, pornography, drug manufacturing and drug cartels, gun running and other crimes all seem to have a common linkage to vast, highly organized criminal networks that operate at international levels. Too often, honest investigators (law enforcement and prosecutorial) find that their investigations lead "up the ladder" to high places, only to find their lives threatened or jobs terminated for pushing too hard to bring justice to the innocent.
 
Scoop and Snoop is the latest development in our efforts to go out and dig deeper into the issues making news in the world. We have created a crack investigative team comprised of experts in law enforcement, government corruption, mind control and cults, missing and exploited children, and other forms of criminal activity.
 
We chose the title "Scoop and Snoop" to denote the concept of investigating corruption (Snoop) and reporting on it (Scoop).

Some of the things that we would like to accomplish through this program is to bring justice to the innocent victims and their families. We also wish to bring to your attention the men and women of the criminal justice system who persevere in their work despite the many and dangerous obstacles that they are confronted with in the performance of their duties. There are a lot of unsung heroes that have performed their duties above and beyond the call of duty, and we will periodically profile them on our program.
